One star is the least spicy, two is medium, three is hot and four is extra hot. The more stars you request, the more your mouth will burn. Ammone said most people request between six and 10 stars. Some of the dishes, especially the curries, are spicy all on their own, while others are mild but can be heated up if you ask for some stars. And if you don't like it hot, don't worry.
