User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsMy husband and I went here for our 3 year wedding anniversary today and i'm very disappointed. We went at 5 pm and they were not busy by any means. We were seated right away and greeted by our waitress. Waitress was friendly but not very knowing about many things on the menu and very slow when it came to refills. Food was horrible. I got the Samon and it was so dry that I just left it on the plate and ate my shrimp skewer. $70.00 for a family of 4 with no apps is far too much to walk out still hungry.

CHAS BEST: THIS HAS TO BE OUR BEST STEAK RESTAURANT. I HAVE EATEN AT ALMOST EVERY PLACE IN TOWN AND HAVE NOT FOUND BETTER STEAKS AND PRIME RIB AROUND. GREAT APPETIZERS TOO

What can I say?: Outback Steakhouse is by far my favorite restaurant. I say this because this is one of the few restaurants where I find the dishes and silverware clean enough for me to dine on. I am a stickler for that. Also, the food is superb. If I had one complaint, it would be the noise. Althought not overbearing enough not to enjoy your meal, I would recommend going during the week as opposed to the weekend. As it is kid-friendly, expect to see quite a few children when you dine. Since I am not a kid person, I tend to go later in the evening.
Quite a few locations are in fairly inconvenient spots, between a few other stores. Therefore, the parking is not the best, so getting there early is recommended.
Dishes and appetizers you will possibly enjoy include Cyclone Pasta,Tassie's Buffalo Chicken, Cairns Citrus Chicken, Kookaburra Wings, Aussie Cheese Fries, Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie, Rockhampton Rib-Eye, Drover's Platter, Alice Springs Chicken, etc...
Drinks and dessert are also excellent, particularly the Cheesecake Olivia and Sydney's Sinful Sundae.
