User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsJust like everyone before me on this bulletin board, I had a terrible experience at Gene Reed Toyota. I leased a brand new car and being not only a woman but also from a different country, I ended up paying more in monthly payments for a lesser car and essentially gave them my trade in for free. After 2 weeks they realized I didn't have enough credit history yet so I had to get a co-signer. It ended up that they put him as the main-leasee and said it wouldn't matter. Now all my paperwork from registration to other things is messed up and they keep giving us the run-around. I think they found out they couldn't give me the deal with me being the main-leasee and decided to just lie to us so they could continue getting the money.
Then I had issues with my car 2 weeks after getting it and the service and especially Raymond Dobbs were horrible. I had to drive back to the dealership 4 times till they finally got it figured out and didn't even get a response from the general manager after I had written a complaint. To summarize: don't go there if you are considering to buy or lease a Toyota.-

I bought a car through Gene Reed and it was one of the worst decisions I have made. They have poor business ethics. I got a brand new Toyota Prius. I am not that seasoned a car buyer so I wasn't really sure what to pay attention to. 3 weeks after I bought my car they told me I had to come back to sign some paper they forgot and it turns out that they couldn't get me the loan they thought they could and my payment was going up $60. They also financed me for 84 months and the interest rate was much higher than they originally said. They told me I had GAP insurance but when I traded in my car (4 months later) Hoover said it wasn't on the contract. They completely lied about everything. I am glad I got a new car that is bigger and better and was actually a little cheaper with a better interest rate. Thank goodness. I will never do business with Gene Reed again. Horrible!!!!!

Not trustworthy and salesman richard is sleezy: I also had to contact the company 20 days after I bought the car. I still haven't received my bill and I was ready to pay. The salesman Richard only cared about selling me a car and that was it. I called for eight hours one day and couldn't get anyone. No salesman or finance, just answering machines. They told me my rate was going to increase and my payments. They new from the moment they rushed to me as I came in the parking lot that I was a first-time buyer, student, and a single mom. I wasn't looking to buy a luxury vehicle, but they sure did bs me around. I would try another Toyota dealership!!!
