| About: | Billing itself as an "authentic Irish pub," Tommy Condon's offers three different dining experiences beneath one roof. Diners can opt to enjoy a meal on the large outdoor deck, in the pub section, or in the more formal back dining room. The dining room is decorated in true Irish country style and the entire establishment is adorned with Irish antiques and collectibles, brought straight from Ireland by Condon himself. The atmosphere is family-oriented and children are always welcome. Shrimp and grits sit right alongside fish and chips on the menu. |

Tommy Condons has a great location and a good atmosphere. The food looks good on the menu but is quite overpriced. When you spend $10 for a hamburger (cheapest meal on the menu) you expect a $10 hamburger. The meat and toppings were fresh, but the bun was just a generic Sams Club enriched bun. It was not warmed or toasted and it was not even fresh. The reuben was good, the steak is very overpriced and small, and $17 for jambalaya is a bit out of line in my opinion. I will not return or recomend it to anybody. Unfortunatley, their location with the tourist traffic is what will keep them alive.
Tommy Condon's is living off its name of old. Now it is pricey and the food is awful. Ate there last night ordered the shepherds pie and a side salad. The pie wasn't terribly bad except that there were only 3 little dollops of mashed potatoes on top, my salad was mostly brown with what we jokingly called ranch flavored milk. And all that for only $17.00. Seriously over priced. Another in our group ordered the fish and chips. The fish served in our schools looked more pleasing than what we got. The fish was not battered it was lightly breaded. These folks do not know what fish and chips really look and taste like. The overall look of these place needs a serious make over. We are locals and assume the only thing keeping Tommy Condons alive is that it is a tourist trap with a captive audience.
Nice indoor or outdo...: Nice indoor or outdoor atomosphere. Irish themed menu items, some I haven't tried before. Draught import beer selection, special of the house included crab soup, Irish (potato) nachos and of course Sheppards pie. sandwiches such as ruben and corned beef were good too.
