No doubt, you better be hungry once you sit down for this hibachi experience. My family and I have been to several different hibachi grills, but this one will serve portions fit for your inner elephant. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that not only was the food well cooked but 3 types of dipping sauces will entertain every taste bud. The cook at one time, like they all do, seemed to be bored with the everyday routine, but genuinely a nice show.
I love this place. I always went to Yokoso's because I didnt know this place existed, I live out of town and drive to Kobe's to meet with friends as much as possible. I LOVE the masago salad, and the sushi is always great. My husband and I also really enjoy sitting in the other part of the restaurant. The cooks are wonderful, If you leave there hungry, something is wrong with you! They are A LOT less expensive than Yokosos, and they arent nearly as crowded, it is much more personable. I love it!
There's nothing good that sets this place apart from other Japanese steakhouses. The chefs' performances were average, the food was the typical mountain of rice with whatever else you want to add. The pre-dinner salad was bagged iceberg, carrot, red cabbage mix with a soupy dressing over top. And like all Japanese Steakhouses the bill was larger than the food satisfaction because you have to pay the chef.
I didn't expect much going in, my wife and I went with a group, and I expect less now.
