| About: | Open in 1997 by partners Alain Saley and Fancios Rivalain, this is Mt. Pleasant's first authentic French restaurant, located in the Patriot's Point Shopping Plaza. It has earned an excellent reputation for fine dining and regional country fare. In additional to daily specials, if offers take-out selections that include cheeses and desserts, freshly baked breads, and prepared meat products. The Bistro Lunch includes an appetizer, entree and beverage (house wine, domestic beer, tea or soft drink). Not to be missed is the monthly "Taste of France", a five-course dinner with wine. The restaurant also features catering and private parties. - Natasha Lawrence |

What a great place! We went for a birthday party last night with a group of 8. The service was quick and friendly, which was impressive since we had such a large party. And the french waitress was able to suggest some great bottles of wine. The food was AMAZING - that duck! And the chocolate mousse was the best I have ever had!
Dont let the location of being in a retail shopping center stop you from going to this amazing restaurant. the staff was on the money and the food was even better. Definatly one of my favorite places to eat!
CHarleston's Best: This is a PRICELESS place. It is owned by two French Chefs and the dining room is run by one of the owner's wives. If you are looking for a six star "hole in the wall", the kind most never find, here it is. In a town full of excellent restaurants, one has to be the very best. This is it.
