I went to Sullivan's on recommedantion from a local. I would just like to start off by saying it is the best deal in town. Don't get me wrong the food is excellent, but the price is what really makes it worth the drive. If you are already on Sullivan's Island, there is no reason why you should eat anywhere else.
We had a young law student as our server. We know this because the service there was excellent, very personal and relaxing. It was our first time there, and he was very helpful because he knew everything about the menu. No BS either, he told us which food was fresh, no lying about the quality. Just straight up what was good.
It was so good that we returned later that week after finding out that it was the best place in town. Unfortunately, this time the server was not as good. It was some ditzy college girl with an attitude. When we tried to joke with her like our first server she was very condesending to my wife. But overall the staff is the friendliest and the food was still excellent.
The best dish on the menu is the 7-Layer Seafood. My wife tried a few of the specials and said they were delicious too. -

While out sightseeing, my boyfriend and I, discovered 'Sullivans'. The food was fantastic and the staff and atmosphere was very pleasant. A very enjoyable place that we will visit again the next time we're in the Charleston area.
