I would highly recommend this restaurant. When I went to the McClellanville Diner I was suprised to find out that they actually served local seafood. Their shrimp was right from the local dock and not imported, the flounder was the best i've had in a while, the crabcakes were divine, their oysters were amazing and the chef's she crab soup was to die for. They had all home made desserts, they had banana pudding, mudd pie, and a brownie sundae. They had one waitress working the diningroom when I was there the first time, she was the chef's daughter I do believe and she was just so sweet, she made the best sweet tea i've ever had and treated every customer as if she had known them. This is a family owned, lowkey restaurant with great prices, great food, and great service. If you live in or near McClellanville or just passing through I would strongly suggest stopping in at the McClellanville Diner.
