User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was looking for the new website Dr. Lawhon is doing and i ran across these reviews. I can tell you this i have been with Dr. Lawhon for many years, since i finished school. I can honestly say that he is a fair man. If you don't do what you are suppose to do you will be talked to about what you didn't do right. at first i did not understand this and it can be hard to hear but if i had a doctor working on me i want a doctor that puts the patient first. it is my job to do what he wants me to do. people are trusting him with their kids and when we put people to sleep you have to do what you are told or something may go wrong. i know that he takes care of his patients very well no matter what i read because he sees alot of people that keep coming back and say he is the best. you would be surprised at the people who just want pain pills and days off from work. i have a good idea who the exemployee is and we are better off without her. he does not allow any drama or backstabbing and that is why i have been with him so long. why don't the exemployee say who she is. i would love for dr. lawhon to talk about these people like they talk about him. there is a reason the exployee does not work with us anymore, she was just slack in her job. he is a great doctor.

I went to Dr. Lawhon last week for consultation and had surgery on Friday and he was WONDERFUL! I was very nervouse at first but he and his staff were GREAT! My friend had dental implant surgery there 2 weeks ago and her teeth are AMAZING NOW!! He is the BEST Oral Surgeon in the area in my opinion!! I can say that because over the years I have been to two other offices and was not nearly as satisfied as I was with Dr. Lawhon!! I will most definately use him again and will would advise anyone to use this doctor for any oral surgery needs. Very satisfied PATIENT!!!!

He performed surgery on me and it became infected and I have pices of my jaw bone in the side of my gums and the socket where the tooth was and I everytime I called the office I naver got to see him they always gave me the run around. When I went back in to see him for my follow up appt and I told what was going on he looked inside my mouth and stated that everything looked fine and that the pain from the pieces of the jaw bones would go away when my body was tried of them and spit them out. (I have a witness that heard this, I have never heard no such in my life). I have to go see another doctor because he won't see me nor will he even offer to do anything for the pain I am in. I paid him almost a 1000.00 for what? Because now I have to go pay another doctor to remove the knots that are along my jaw line and the pieces of the jaw bone that inside my gum and the socket where the tooth was removed. He is very rude, the staff never know anything when you call...I got nothing but the run around from them. I fil like I was ripped off and very mistreated. I will never see him again in my life and I will never refer anyone to him. Please take my advise and do research on doctors and there staff before seeing them. I wish I had knew how he was before going to him. i have spoken with a lot of people that have used him in the past and I have heard nothing but negative advise of how he did the same thing to them when they had problems after he performed surgery. Again please don't go to this doctor.

wished u would of read my story cause urs sound just like mines
I worked for Mark when he first opened his practice. I can tell you exactly what the problem is. One day he's in a GREAT mood and treats everyone like they are movie stars, and the next day is aggravated, impolite, and somewhat aggressive. The reason is because his wife works in the office (Christie - Insurance/Front Desk) and when they have a disagreement at home it comes to the office with them. He has a mean streak that shows itself often. Those with wonderful comments about their experience caught him on a good day and those that had bad experience's on one of his MANY bad days!
