    This a follow up to my post in 2006.
    Since o6 I added a female greyhound to my pack. so now Trudy Swanda takes care of my two greys and two cats. Some of the injuries or illnesses she has successfully treated include : severe diarrhea (ongoing for a year that no other vet (5 total) could diagnose or treat) back injury with obvious severe pain, foreign object in the eye with scarring that she was able to remove,, pad injuries, ankle injuries, dislocated toe that she fixed in seconds, urinary tract infections for my cats, and of coarse general care. I just cant say enough good about her care and her obvious love for animals. The staff are loving and genuinely care. Today at my visit one of the staff was moved to tears over the sad event of having to help a family put their dog down. I was moved. So if you're looking for a vet who truly cares, that your animals will love and not fear (that's HUGE) that has a wide knowledge base (more than any vet I've met) and has a caring staff at her side, she's the vet for you. I love her and her staff and am completely happy. Oh, she's more than 30 minutes away and I pass 4 vets on the way that I have tried in the past. Hope this helps.

    Dont take your animals here. I brought my dog in last week and they totally misdiagnosed her. Now because of that she is having surgery and has gone into kidney failure and I may lose her!!!!!

    Update, I just went up to the clinic to get my money back 130. to use towards the surgery and told them that I almost lost her because of them. "oh what did she have?" Then they took the chart back to Dr. Trudy who spent the next 10 minutes writing notes in it to cover herself!!! She wrote that they had warned me which is a lie! Then they threatened to call the cops on me to have me removed from their property. !!!! If you would like to hear more let me know!

    St. Francis is a great animal hospital, and i prefer taking my pets there. They love my white boxer Baine, and they are nothing but kind and thorough in their work. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, and the care there is exceptional. ^_^
