User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsVery tasty food, great variety. Staff generally helpful and friendly. Only had one really bad dining experience there and management took care of things quickly. Wish they hadn't gotten rid of the crab cakes!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBar, Food & Fun rolled into one: Shug's is romantic place to take your date with its nice menu selection like steaks and romantic surroundings. You can sit in the front by a candlelight dinner or sit out back in front of the fireplace. This is also a good place to bring your family including kids. Because while you wait on your meal you can eat peanuts out of a pale and they have burgers for the kids. And what a place for you or your friends to just sit back and chill in the bar. They always have some cool Blues music playing in the bar. Which sets the mood right if you are by yourself or with a drinking buddy. Sometimes they have live music in the back and they always have the sports channel on in the bar. I have to say this is the only place in Hartsville S.C. where you will find a nice steak dinner.
