I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Parsons Table and my dining experience couldn't have been more enjoyable. Those who vist the Myrtle Beach area know that every chain known to mankind is there and then some. Please don't miss out on this hiiden gem in Little River, which is located in an old Parsonage. We were greeted so warmly by the hostess and the service was friendly and professional. They start you off with a bread basket that includes fresh cornbread, and I was hooked. I had the cornbread encrusted grouper and I thought I died and went to heaven,it was that delicious. My husband had the Duck and judging by his plate it was a hit. One of the best things about the menu is that everything is included,a scrumptious salad, and all your sides. The meal was so fantastic we didn't think we could eat another bite, but we forced ouselves to try the bread pudding. I peeled off a bite and couldn't believe my surprise. This was amazing, the only bread pudding I ever had before was in Boston and could never understand why people liked it. Those guys up north need to try this one and the city will be transformed. Anyway I am getting a little carried away but finding a new fantastic dining experience does that to me. Please break away from all the chains and give The Parsons Table a try, they even have early bird specials, if you want to try at little risk. I guarantee you will not be disappointed, I leave South carolina dreaming about that grouper.
Fine food in a nice...: Fine food in a nice atmosphere. We live in the area and it's one of our favorite spots.
We have been to this resturant before and thought very highly of the food and atmosphere. We decided to go there recently again to celebrate my Birthday, the atmosphere and service were still good, but the food was absolutely disgusting. We ordered prime rib and it was too fatty to eat, the potatoes were so cold the butter would not even melt. For the price we paid it should have been delicous. We were really disapointed and will not be going back. Chesnut hill in Myrtle beach is a better alternative if you are looking for fine dining with atmosphere.
