Ihave been visiting the Pavilion for over 35 yrs.Family vacations with my parents as a little girl, with friends as a teenager, with my husband as an adult and with my child as a parent. All menories of the beach are centered around my nightly trips to the Pavilion. When we found out it was closing I was heart broken. We attended the Farewell season twice. First on our regular vacation and we made a special trip down on the last weekend it was opened to the public. We still come to MB every year but it is not the same. It just seems so sad when you drive by and see that vacant lot. The heart of MB is gone. All that remains is what we can remember. I am sure someone had a justifiable reason for doing what they did but to us the families that remember the rides, sounds, lights, and thrills of going its just wrong. Myrtle Beach will never be the same to any of us. It truely is very sad!
the park is so fun the ride, food, game.ect. is just great for people any ages. i fI ever go any were in South Carolina it would be the Pavilion!!!!!!!!
