I have been to Captain George's twice..in May and Sept. of 2009. The food and service was wonderful! I would reccomend this place over all of the other buffets in town. Buffet is around $27 but includes unlimited supplies of crab legs, clams, shrimp, steaks, etc. It was deliscious both times and I would reccomend it to anyone. I can't wait to go back!
What a very good choice. The crab legs were amazing and they never ran out. Thank you george!
I had the unfortunate misadventure of dinning at captain georges on 9/13/09 The food was exceptionaly second class and in some case downright terrible. The prime rib consisted of globules of fat in the server with one or two slimey peices of meat. The hostess insisted that we sit in the third level in spite of their being about 50 or 60 tables open in the second level. The crablegs were cold and very small seems like they purchased a second grade of crab legs. The bill of 35.00 perperson was outrageous and nowhere in the resturant was the price posted. I have had better meaals at many local resturants at lest then half the cost one that comes to mind is the new china buffet on 17 business in surfside beach where the same quality of food and more varieties can be had for 15.00 per person including the crablegs. Well another lesson learned about the resturants mentioned on local tv i will never return to captain georges andwill tell everyone i know to avoid at all costs.
