They must've been on an off night when we went. I pasta I ordered had chicken in it, but the chicken was a bit dry. I had ordered anchovies for my ceasar salad, but they forgot to bring it. The salad was mediocre. The person I was dining with ordered chicken parmasan, but eggplant parmasan came out. We ordered a pizza for an appetizer... the crust was good. They gave us free desserts, but our experience can be summed up as disappointing and the food mediocre.
Very cool place!: Trio is truly one of my favorite downtown restaurants. The atmosphere is great with the open kithcen, gas lanterns and wood fired oven. I like the variety on the menu and the price is right.
Largest diverse menu, wow!: We loved this restaurant. I had some of the best sweet tea I've ever had. The bread and dipping sauce was great. I had the Southwest Ravioli. I don't remember what all was in it, but it was the best ravioli. The perfect portion size. My husband had the Crawfish pasta dish. He loved it and I thought it had a really good flavor. We plan to visit this restaurant very soon. We didn't like where we were seated though, very near the door. Our waitress was very nice and prompt.
