    Was lookin for a laid back waterin hole and boy did I find it! Me & my friend had a blast, and talk about local color, we met some really fine honest to goodness folks who kept us entertained. I live in Columbia but plan to make a trip back to Beaufort to go to their monthly bash. It's worth the trip!

    The excellent rating I have applied to Momma Hoots applies if you are sick and tired of stuffed shirts and stuck up divas, Plastic people in general. Hoots is a last bastion of the neighborhood bar, the 'Cheers' kind of place. Everybody knows your name, and if they don't it's because you've never been there. Real people abound, and you are guaranteed a good time!
