Excellent Cabinetmaker - Design thru Installation!: I am living in the second house in which I have gutted and remodelled a kitchen. I am so glad that I hired John Murdock to design and build my cabinets in this house. John Murdock is a very tallented designer and runs a top notch Cabinet Shop. Although he was the highest of three detailed quotes, this experience is proof that "you often get what you pay for." I don't always go with the highest estimate, but I rarely go with the lowest. The quality of the cabinets and the attention to detail in the workmanship made these cabinets worth every penny.

Design Quality:

John Murdock has the ability to marry the customers individual taste with the style of the house to come up with a professional designer quality style. His design has transformed my kitchen into a modern upgraded look that retains the simple clean style of the 1960 Ranch home. Words cannot adequately describe it.

Scheduling and Workmanship:

John Murdock was not ready to start on my cabinets right when I hired him. In fact, I had to wait several months to get the cabinets installed. But the wait was well worth it. John Murdock kept me informed of the status along the way, and he showed up when he said he would. He is a man of his word (rare find these days). The actual installation took less than a week. Despite some surprises in the way the house was framed, everything ended up square and level.

If you are looking for quality cabinets, and are in a position to schedule the job in a reasonable time frame (3 to 6 months), then I highly recommend John Murdock. As proof, I am currently working on phase two with him (a walk-in pantry adjacent to the kitchen).
