We saw the Conspiracy this afternoon and had a terrible experience. The movie theatre needs to join the outcome of the torn down shopping center next door. The theatre is run down and the management is inept. The movie projector sounded like an old time one, whirling and growling and overwhelming the soundtrack. My husband and several others complained to the projectionist who said he was working on fixing it. We kept thinking that he would be able to fix it, so we stayed. After the movie, my husband compained to the owner and asked for refund. The owner argued with him about it for twenty minutes, admitting that there were problems in the previous showing. Still she chose to take the unethical route and sell tickets to our show and the one afterwards ( and probably still is selling tickets as the machine gets worse.). She thought the problem was in the soundtrack so she ordered another copy. What she should have done was call a repairman - the problem was not in the movie's soundtrack, it was in the equipment. (The noise was in the previews as well.) After much discussion, she gave us movie passes to return. No, thanks, we will never return nor will our guests when they visit. This is no way for new owners to build a business. Besides, the locked front door is in direct violation of firecodes - I am afraid what might happen should there be an emergency.
