Avondale Station Apartments

I live here now, and it's okay. Maintenance is slow and sloppy. The apartments are big and affordable, but you get what you pay for. Most of the work done to these apartments is "mc gyvered", so don't expect the highest quality. For example my chandelier is being held up by a twistie tie. The main gate is frequently stuck open, but despite that I do feel safe here. The low price combined with the large floorplan and relative feelings of security make it worth looking into.

I live there now and I like it.: I've been here since November of 2006. There are not really anything that I dislike about the place except for the facts that some residence do not pick up after there dogs. If residents are not cleaning up behind their pets they will be fined. I do need to say that this apartment complex is pet friendly. There is a lot of greenspace for children and pets. The neighhood is good, the neighbors are respectable. Working class neighborhood, convenient to a lot of shopping. Myself., my wife and my kids (3 &1) spend lots of enjoyable time playing outside. In response to the earlier submission, Anyone who believes that someone is low class much think way too much of themselves and no one and this includes the person who posted that earlier should take themselves that seriously. That is in many ways a sin.......Either way come by Avondale Station and make your own decision

Avondale Station - Don't make this mistake: Avondale Station is possibly the worst set of apartments that I've ever lived in. It is a "gated" community, but anyone can get in any time they want.
1.The people who live here are quite obviously of a lower class. There are people that play their music loud. I hear people blowing their car horns in the middle of the night. I have even seen drug deals right before my eyes.
2. The walls are incredibly thin. I have heard entire conversations of my neighbors. I hear walking and cleaning...and unfortunately I have even heard my neighbors making love.
3. Strange people wander this complex. Tonight I was met with people who do not live here washing their car in my complex. Various people have walked right to my door.
4. Management is lackluster and downright rude at times. I have asked for repairs and they have sent a resident who is inexperienced in repairs.
Don't make this mistake.
