| About: | This small venue plays host to local, up-and-coming acoustic acts seven nights a week. Located in the heart of Decatur, the Attic is nestled amid shops and storefronts on this busy side street. The small stage is set in the corner, opposed by a long bar and cabaret-style tables. Seating is limited, so come early. A small menu of light fare is available. Groups as big as the Indigo Girls have graced this stage on their way to the top, so stop by to catch a rising star. |

nice venue to see great musicians: I've seen many great concerts here. They know how to bring them in. The tickets sometimes got pricey in my opinion, but then again that's because I'm just getting on my feet. Food and ambience are forgettable, but not bad.
Don't go in the attic.: My cousins used to tell me not to go into Grandma's attic; the "blue blob" might get you. It's not in her attic, I discovered. It's in Eddie's.
Awesome venue: People actually go to listen to the music here, so the crowd is generally quiet and respectful. The listening room is smoke-free, but they have a patio and bar for those who want to smoke (or talk loudly). This is a great place to see good, local live acoustic music. The food is also good!
