My experience at the Atlanta Vision Institute was probably the best experience I have had with any doctor for anything. The friendly staff and the expertise and experience of Dr. Ashraf's was second to none. I did plenty of research on LASIK before making my decision, and the Atlanta Vision Institute was hands down the right choice.

I had my LASIK performed by Dr. Ashraf in Feb. 2005. The office and staff were very nice and professional. I was 32 at the time and have worn eyeglasses since I was in the 7th grade. I graduated to contact lenses in college. After the birth of my son in my mid-20’s my eyes changed and I wasn’t able to wear contact lenses with as much frequency or comfort that I had experienced previously. Anyone considering LASIK should recognize that as with any surgery there are associated risks. After much thought, I decided to have the procedure done. I thoroughly researched the doctor, the equipment and procedure. I was thrilled to be able to get the procedure done by a seasoned doctor and not at a place that advertises @ $XXX per eye. My experience has been a wonderful one. No more glasses needed to see what time it is in the middle of the night, no need to wear contacts in the shower or at the pool. No more solutions to clean contacts/glasses. I love my results thanks to Dr. Ashraf’s skill & talent and am glad that I made the decision to go through with LASIK and found a wonderful doctor to perform my surgery.
