User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI went to Toni and Guy, and did I get the worst cut of my life! I went for something trendy, and came out looking like an old lady! There was no style, I didn't even want to walk out with the "tails" they had given me on each side! I was there for 5 hours with someone who knew nothing of cutting hair-it was his first day on the floor. Don't they see how they cut after training to see how well they can cut! I was so pissed, and the only thing they could do for me was to give me a discount the next time I came in. You think I wan't to subject myself to this again???? Not a chance.....

I have been going to Tony and Guy for a few years now and I have always had great cut. Even when I go in and have no clue what I want done, I somehow am always pleased. I too have gotten compliments on my cuts and a couple of my friends now go to Tony and Guy because they have liked my cuts.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe only place I trust: I refuse to let anyone else come close to my hair. I have had the same stylist for years. She has created both short and long styles just for me that have all turned out beautifully! The service is fantastic and personable. I will not go anywhere else for my cut, color, and products!

So basically you went there to get your hair cut but you got the cheapest level stylist there, you had to have asked for the cheapest level. So you got what you paid for. Duh! If you want a good haircut your going to have to pay for it...cheapo! Otherwise just go to great clips and stop complaining.
I really think you are assuming a lot, Hope. I've been to other Tony and Guy's - though not this one, and that is not always the case - you get some good, some awesome and maybe some beginners who shouldn't really be cutting hair. They usually have full schedules and put you with whomever is available.
Barring that - it's still my favorite place for a great cut 80% of the time.
