    If you are looking for an authentic Jamaican restaurant, Jerk Shack is the one. It is operated by a Jamaica family. They were previously located on Hurricane Shoals Road and move to this sight about a year ago.

    Their best dishes in my opinion are the Jerk Chicken and Oxtail.

    If you like tender beef that falls off of the bone, cooked in wonderful brown sauce; served with rice and peas, fried plantains and cabbage then this is the meal for you! It is my all time favorite.

    The Jerk Chicken is succulent pieces of chicken cooked in slightly spicy rub and served with rice and peas, fried plantains and cabbage.

    They are not open on Saturdays but are open all other days.

    The Jerk Shack also provides a small market of Jamaican products from Ginger Beer, Sauces, Plantain Chips and other items found in Jamaica..
