User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsMy family and I tried Mt. Fuji again for the first time after a bad experience two years ago. We will not be going back! We went in skeptical and let the staff know of our bad experience and that we hoped a more pleasant evening would follow.
It didn't... We had reservations and were seated late due to another party that had arrived late. We also learned they only had two chefs working the grills (on a Saturday night at 8pm). From the time we were seated until the chef arrived at our table it was 50 minutes our soup and salad has long since been finished. The "show" was almost nonexistant and the chef didn't even cut the shrimp. My 8yr old wasn't even impressed. He loves these places and even said it was lame.
The food was good and once we received it we were enjoying it, until my son noticed a BUG crawl across the table. That bug turned out to be a ROACH. We trapped it under his drink glass and notified the server. She proptly replaced the drink and didn't acknowledge the bug.
We asked to speak with management but they were too busy cooking. We were never compesentated and still had to pay a bill for a dinner we were not going to eat. Needless to say we have notified the Health Department!

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsYou won't regret an evening here!: As a long time repeat customer of Mt Fuji, I can say that this is simply one of the best places to get good, fresh, quality sushi around. Don is very picky about what he serves you and if you're not happy, he will make it right! Everyone I've ever taken here just comes away raving, even people who swear they will never eat sushi! Their hibachi is excellent as well, the fried rice is the best anywhere. Truly a hidden treasure in Atlanta!
