Tomas is an eclectic American restaurant with a fairly impressive diversity in it's entree selections. The crab guacamole appetizer (served with blue corn tortilla chips) was amazing. The pan seared grouper with sauteed spinach and corn grits was served with a light lemon/caper sauce that was quite impressive. My husband had the ribeye steak which was served with a lightly fried potato cake with scallions and sour cream. Awesome.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice as well - much better inside than you would expect from the outside. Great lighting, cool bar area. On a Friday night it was also not at all crowded and the service was attentive but not hovering. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
