Dr.Moore has a wonderful office filled with a great staff. The atmosphere is very pleasant and puts you in a calm spirit. However, I was very disappointed once I inquired about the fees that I were being charged up front were not necessary. I decided to get the codes of procedures being access so I could call my insurance. When my insurance was contacted they informed me of only having to pay a co-payment of only $10.00 instead of $90.00. Unfortunately, this was my second case. The first situation took place when I needed one wisdom tooth removed. He was more than willing to pull the tooth for $200.00+. When I inquired about how much the insurance was paying. He decided to send me somewhere else. The staff was told to tell me that he is not covered under my insurance to do the procedure. I did not understand why. Due to me trusting his great work, I called my insurance company to see why he could not do it and they pay for it. They informed me different. He was covered to do the procedure. However, I only needed to pay a co-payment of $10.00, not $200.00+. Please be careful of the you pay at the office. May sure you get procedure codes and check with your insurance company before paying any fees. After all, we are paying for insurance out of our hard earn money which should be a benefit.
