This was ok sushi for ok prices. The staff was especially friendly.
The service and the food at the Kani House in Woodstock is always great. They are child-friendly as well. The kids get "training chopsticks" and a tattoo. The menu also becomes a mask. They used to have origami on the kids menu which kept them entertained. The portions are very generous, and you'll most likely be taking home leftovers.
The only thing I don't like is the smell outside of the building. Not sure where it's coming from, but it smells like stagnant water sometimes. At least it's OUTside.
The price for their tea was just pulled out of the sky. The chief was serving my family (3 people) and another group of three and was working clockwise and did not serve the food in even portions. I would not recommend this restaurant as I and the party served with us agreed that the service was atrocious.
