Excellent Hibachi experience. We took my teen daughter to another big name hibachi grill in Atlanta for her birthday, and we all agreed our experience at Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse far exceeded that of this other popular restaurant. We also frequent there for lunch, it's a great value

This place had the best sushi I found in the Atlanta area. Someone had shared with me a NY Times article that said the best sushi experience is one where you allow the chefs to demonstrate their skills and make sushi into art. When we went into Toyko Steakhouse, we told our waitress that we wanted to go off menu. She called the chef over to our table, and he was only too happy to oblige. We told how many rolls we wanted and what our limitations were (both price and types of fish) and they brought us all sorts of interesting creations. Unfortunately, I do not remember the names of them, but I highly encourage you to try doing the same thing. There was one roll they gave us that had a rainbow of roe. The roll (like all of the others) was presented absolutely beautifully and tasted amazing. They were so excited about having someone to show their skills off to that they even gave us a free (unique) appetizer! I have never left a sushi restaurant (and I have been to many all over the country) feeling that I have had a better experience and a better value for my money. In fact, every time we go out for sushi (which is quite often), we compare it to this experience. In the past month, we have eaten in at least 10 meals in 6 sushi different restaurants, and we have yet to find a restaurant that has given us anything close to the experience we had.
