User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAnnie Laura's Kitchen is the BOMB!!! This Is (Aint) It! Watch out! Best soul food on the South Side. You know how you may visit a resturant and then the next time you visit the food isnt the same, maybe the chef changes?? Well I've eating Annie Laura's during the weekday and the weekend; the food always taste the same-- OFF THE CHAIN!

I'm very very picky and moving from Ny I wanted to taste some real soul food and a lot of places out here just didn't fit the bill but Annie Laura's hits the spot all the time... there food taste like its home cooked and not mass produced... my favorite here is the the turkey wings over dressing with mac and cheese and turkey greens... but everything is good trust me.... This is the first review I have ever written on a restaurant... that tells you how much i love the food... As far as the way the place looks... it's pretty old but that's on;y because the landlord don't wanna fix anything... but i heard they will be moving soon to a better place... go visit and try everything it's all really good...... A fat girl should know lol

I loved the food. Hated the service. Now if the food would match the service, I'd be there all the time!!! I don't think they know what the words customer service are but..... The food is great. So I always call in a carry out order. That way I can just get my food and eat it in peace.

I tried it and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything was good the fried fish the corn bread stuffing the turkey wing the mac and cheese was ok but overall I really love this place and will be back!!!! Thanks for your reveiw otherwise I would not have known about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
