Good old local...: Again one of my local stomping grounds. In the past its been a bar first, restaraunt second. That's changing. Still get ok drinks, food is much improving and now they have a frequent visitors card that lets you in on deals, specials, coupons, etc.
I like it here because it doesn't change too much. They aren't chasing after any fad. Irish Bred isn't confused as to who they want as customers! They're consistent and that is comforting.
If you go - try the "home fries" our waitress Tabatha got us to try 'em last night - YUM (think homemade chips).
Don't go during lunch time: I was really not impressed! We waited 10 minutes at the front until the hostess arrived. Then when she was going to seat us, there was a homeless guy sleeping in one of the booths! Completely turned us off from eating there. At least that was our experience!
Cool place...: What I like most about this place is the service. Just your average bar, but the service seems better than most. If you sit at the bar, Lauren is one of the best bar tenders I have ever seen. Good, quick service and she never seems to forget an order or forget a name. The food is pretty good as well.
