User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat Food - Great Town: Just an update from 2006. Alamo Jacks is still alive and well as is the rest of the Square in downtown Newnan. I just moved back to my hometown after 25 years away and am pleasantly pleased at the changes. Lots of live acts, a coffee shop with free wi-fi and great food and drinks. Don't miss the wonderful driving tours as the houses are fantastic!
It's not quite the same sleepy town described by Allan Jackson in "Small Town', but Morgan's Jewelry is still there and things are still moving along. Stop in and stay awhile.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsRemember the Alamo: I was pleasantly surprised when i walked into this bar set in historic downtown Newnan. The staff was extermely friendly and the drinks strong. It catered to an extermely diverse clientele I was not expecting to find in what would appear to be a sleepy Georgia town. Stayed all night and had a blast.
