Tamarind Business Overview

Edit Info

Company Information: The location may be slightly hidden, but the food at Tamarind is well worth the search. The exterior is very unassuming, but inside, an Oriental elegance pervades the small dining room, attended by a wait staff noted for its friendliness and skills of explanation. If presentation is everything, Tamarind has elevated it to an art. The normal curries and such are great here, but it's the interesting combination dishes (particularly among the appetizers) that make this modern Thai house unique. Full bar service available.

a night to remember: My dining experience at Tamarind was quite nice. Although the service got off to a slow start, the staff was very polite and helped to make the evening pleasurable. The food was wonderful, from appetizers to desert. The environment is appropriate for an intimate dinner for 2 or a small group of friends closing out the day. Although the parking can be difficult on a busy evening, it is still worth a short walk. I would be more than happy to have dinner there again, and would certainly recommend it to anyone interested in a nice thai dining experience.

The atmosphere and service brought me back...: I've been to Thailand and had the "real stuff," and this seems to come pretty close. I went to Tamarind for my birthday last year and it was great! The service is phenomenal, the atmosphere fun, and the food delictible. It seems to be a great place for everyone--large groups, kids, couples. If you like Asian food, or think you might, you have got to try this place!
