Love it!: Martinis & IMAX is a fantastic evening out! Every few months they alternate IMAX movies, though it's certainly worth going even if not to see a movie. The live music is always top notch, and the fact that you can walk around different areas of the museum is a bonus.

Always Sexy, Sophisticated, and Cultured: Friday's Martinis & Imax event at the Fernbank is a must for date nights, meeting friends, or any other excuse to drink martini's and listen to Jazz. Don't be thrown off by the movie titles. I haven't seen a bad on yet, so spring for the movie and your cover charge is automatically waived.

Tip: The music is great, but the main hall can get VERY loud. Find a nice table in the dinning room: not only will you be able to hear the music, but also you can enjoy lively conversation with your friends.

Must see: I love this place. Everyone in Atlanta should check it out atleast once. Some of their special exhibits are a little boring, but I guess it all depends on your interests. It is a pretty cool way to spend a few hours on the weekend and hopefully expanding your knowledge in some meaningful way. If nothing else, walk around the place and notice all the fossils in the limestone tile they have laid throughout. Don't forget all the exhibits they have on the third floor as well. A lot of people never go up that high and they miss out on some interesting exhibits.

The IMAX is cool. Don't really care for the seating, but the movie selection most of the time is outstanding.
