| About: | If an Irish pub's your thing, pull up a stool at this popular rendition in the heart of the Virginia Highlands. Take your pick of English and Irish stouts, ales and lagers, or peruse the lengthy list of bottled fare. The selection of aged Scotches and uncommon whiskies is particularly impressive. The small stage, back-dropped by busy Highland Avenue, features live acoustic acts nightly, often accompanied by the high-spirited, if musically-challenged, patrons. |

I was looking for a "traditional" pub. Called on Sunday and asked about Irish/Celtic music and was told to come Wednesday. Called on Wednesday to verify Irish/Celtic music as it was a 30 mile one-way trip. First 6 songs were American folk to "Vincent." Sang 3 Irish tunes and then to Beatles. Very disappointed. Food and service were just fine though. Friendly, just not traditional music. Bartender took my complaint with professionalism, apologized and explained that I would not find solid Celtic music at Limericks. Fado's on Monday night has what I like.
refreshing change: great place to go to change gears from buckhead. the Irish live music is authentic and enjoyable. great place to go to actually have a conversation while drinking a pint!
Irish Car Bomb Please: Great place to be for great Irish music. Went on a random night to drink a couple of Irish Brews and was surprised to see a large crowd and a great one man band. All in all... Awesome. Highly recomended attending a music night.
