About:Are you bound for Heaven or Hell? Purgatory might be your best option at this music club east of downtown. Upstairs in Heaven, live bands and dancing are featured, while downstairs in Hell, there is lots of good old-fashioned drinking. Feeling dirty? Try dancing in soapsuds, yet another unusual offering. The club often books big-name bands from around the country, and past guests have included Everclear and the Specials. Swing dance lessons, pool tables and great food are also all part of this "otherworldly" experience at the Masquerade.

    -Well i have not been to the club but i think i might go. i have really heard alot about it & it sounds HOTT.

    I will be coming real soon when i have a free weekend.

    Love the Masquerade: This place has a wonderful atmosphere for live music. I look foward to seeing more shows here.

    Good for Bands...Not for Club atmosphere: I have heard of some promotional groups holding club events in the purgatory room recently. To me this seems to be anything but classy..if you like rock/metal bands then this is the place to go. Otherwise for a good clubing experience DO NOT GO TO THE PURGARTORY ROOM! This place is meant for bands and live performances ONLY!
