About:Max Lager's was one of the first restaurants to bring the fresh and natural wood-fired menu concept to Atlanta. The art of cooking with wood enhances the Max Lager's experience with bold flavors simply not found with alternative cooking methods. We feel that the investment made in the wood-fired grill is an investment that pays great dividends to our guests. All Max Lager's menu items are prepared daily from scratch. Wood-fired steaks, burgers, seafood, ribs, and pizza are Max Lager's signature items. An inspired selection of entree salads and pastas add variety to the American menu.

The experience was totally enjoyable! The sad part was that because of the hops shortage, we couldn't taste all of the great microbrews!

2 dinners with appetizer and 2 beers: $42 (without tip)

I did try the barley wine and the scotch ale - bothe excellent. The food was great and so was our server, who took great care of us and chatted up about the area.

    I highly recommend.

what a surprise: The food was good and varied, we were a large odd group of married in relatives and had small kids and everyone stayed happy the whole time we were there. Even the restrooms were clean. The service was outstanding, and food from every part of the menu was enjoyed: from pasta to burgers, to pizza by a four year old to a 72 year old. Loved it!!

Great food and even greater beer: Really good food. Typical american food with some fusion twists thrown in. My favorite is the buffolo chicken salad. It is only on the lunch menu, but evertime I have asked they have made it for me after lunch hours. The best part of this retaurant is the beer. SImply the best. Try the beer sampler where you get to try all the different beers in small glasses. The rotating seasonal beer means that there is always a new beer to come back to try.
