| About: | Located in a renovated warehouse, Floataway Cafe transformed the space into a contemporary dining experience. Chefs/Owners Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison have created a local organic, produce-driven menu with French, Mediterranean and Italian influences that changes as frequently as the farmers unload their daily harvest. Pale blues are offset by creamy wood panels and natural lighting, while a courtyard area is transformed into a romantic outdoor cafe with the night sky forming a starry canopy. |

Visted Floataway Cafe in February 08 while visiting colleges. Read some so-so reviews that in my opinion were unfair or written by angry former employees. Our visit was extraordinary. The menu is fun and full of great choices. We enjoyed the (home made salami) pizza, the platter of homemade meats and cheeses and the crab cake - all were outstanding. The kobe beef short ribs******, the hangar steak*****, the veal meatballs*****, and the ravioli**** were exceptional. The meatballs were a unique and different menu item. The desserts were incredible. I enjoyed the 3 servings of soft serve ice cream with 3 different toppings with the OILVE OIL sauce being my favorite - I also wouldn't miss the shortbread cake. Overall, a beautiful, tasteful and relaxed restaurant setting, great service and all at a fair price! I highly recommend the place and will be sure to go back next time in Atlanta!
