We ate here from hearing about this place on the food network.

We wernt impressed at all, the burger meal was over $6 bucks and the burger was really small, kinda like a burger a kid would get in a happy meal or something. So I ordered a chili dog after I ate the burger cause I was still hungry and it was good but the chile was really strong tasting, the onion rings were really good though, but this place is overhyped.

The portions were very small and the food was terrible! I've seen all sorts of hype about this place on TV and was really looking forward to it, but it was terribly disappointing. The onion rings (all 5 of them that were in an order) were swimming in grease. The chili dogs and hamburgers were almost flavorless. The only positive thing about it is the decor, but it looks more old and tired rather than kitschy 50's.

I had always heard about the Varsity and I went and tried it out and I have to say I had better food served to me in high school.
