out of control: I think bulldogs provides a fun, safe place to meet up with friends. Drinks are off the hook..it only takes two.. the undertone of the club it what makes the mysteria so interesting
Odd place: I never quite understood the fascination with Bulldogs - it might be for the $5 cover charge, which is cheap in Atlanta. However there are things to take into account here:
1) the size - why is the patio in the back bigger then the dancefloor inside?
2) Why are there 3 bars, but only one that is being used (that is the case even on busy weekends and holidays).
3) There is a vending machine, next to ONE pool table, and 2 arcade games. Granted this is a bar, but considering the size of the place it might be best to get rid of the vending machine and the arcade games, at least put it in the back or something to open things up.
3) Why does it cost more to park, then it does to go to the club !?! C'mon.
4) I understand its a bar, but typically in bars you are able to socialize with anyone without having to shout, while "Check On It" is drowning out your voice.
The alternative - go to Red Chair.
Maturity At it's Best: Bulldogs is a great place to go if you want to be around a more mature crowd. Great location but not all that discreet and the bar is rather too small to accommodate the crowd that comes in regularly. The drinks could be much better if they stop serving water-down drinks!
