About:"The Earl" is actually an acronym for "the East Atlanta Restaurant and Lounge." Located in East Atlanta Village, this is a favorite spot among high-spirited partiers in the area; the music here is loud, and the crowd is never dull. On scheduled nights, the lounge features hard-charging bands from Georgia and around the country, in genres ranging from alternative to metal to rock. Cover charge varies depending on the act for the night. Bar food is served.

    To sit here and list all the great bands that have played the Earl would take longer than the amount of time the venue has been open. So many great indie bands have played this super-cool venue located in East Atlanta. There's a great restaurant inside to eat before a show and plenty of parking. They use Ticket Alternative for their advance tickets which is nice because that makes it cheap. You can also get tickets from Criminal Records, Ella Guru and Decatur CD.

    best burger and fries in town: friendly wait staff. the place has seeen some epic shows, too.

    Interesting Place: A nice little dark place tucked away on the edge of Atlanta. Great burgers, lots of music variety and a diversity of patrons to match. A very quaint atmosphere.
