| About: | In the world of the classic greasy spoon, Silver Skillet stands as Atlanta's benchmark for quaint quality. The home cooked Southern dishes are heavily-laden with gravy, sauces, flavor and calories, but who cares? The lunch specials arrive at your table enormous and irresistible. You can always wash the grits down with fresh buttermilk and sweet tea, another Southern tradition. Most meals will run you as little as USD5. As you eat, try and remember this important tip, If you don't leave room for home-cooked pie, you're making a big mistake. |

Great southern food and southern breakfasts! Egg breakfasts, grits, red eye gravy - everything you would expect from an Atlanta breakfast! In 50s style decor too!! A fun place to eat breakfast or brunch with your buddies! Close to Georgia Tech, Midtown, Atlantic Station
HUGELY Overrated...The food was salty and bland. I don't know what the big fuss is for...I will NEVER eat there again!
My co-workers and I went for lunch and we did not even stay to order. The waitress was rude and threw our silverware on the table. Also, we were the only ethnic people there. We received mean looks and our service was very poor. I would not recommend eating here. It felt like we not welcomed.
