The smoking is so bad, because the main room is so small. I could barely breathe! I went to watch a football game with my fellow Bama fans, but ended up inhaling second hand smoke for 4 plus hours. This one chick even reached over and grabbed the candle off my table to light up! My clothes reeked after I left, it was disgusting. I will not EVER be going back to Smiths Olde Bar. If anyone knows of a nicer place where Alabama fans go watch the games, let me know... -

So many great bands have ...See MoreThis is one of the best music venues in town, especially now that the main room upstairs is non-smoking. So many great bands have played here! The main room holds about 300, and there is also a smalle room downstairs that showcases acoustic acts. It holds about 75. Tickets for Smiths are available through Ticket Alternative which is nice (low service charges) or from their own box office. For opening times check their web site.
