Have gone here several times a year for many years. However, the quality of food continues to deteriorate. They must have changed the brand of their frankfurters as they have gotten smaller and the taste is not nearly as good. Worse yet is the (hot) pastrami. I think they use turkey pastrami because it doesn't taste like "real" NY pastrami. I will not go back, Sorry.
very nasty place!!!! i sat on the bottom floor of the store and wittnessed the cook did in his nose and continue to cook!!! and thats when i procceded to leave!!!
I love this place! It's great for those who eat kosher and those who don't. The prices are high but the food quantity and quality justifies the prices, easily. They also have a bakery in the restaurant and a deli case. I ordered their hot open-faced turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes, gravy, and stuffing and the portion size was huge. It was so delicious and you can tell it's homemade.
They have great bagel pizzas, wonderful chicken salad sandwiches and the coleslaw...oh my God! I gotta get me a big ol' container of slaw to take home. It has fresh dill in it and it blows away any other restaurant's coleslaw. I love food (could you tell?) and I love buying bagels and cookies and coleslaw to take home.
The wait staff can be... uneven. A friend and I witnessed a semi-meltdown of a waitress the last time we were there. She was muttering under her breath and kind of arguing with another waitress and a waiter. It was uncomfortable to be sitting in the middle of the restaurant, listening to this. There was a lot of banging of cups and silverware. My sister used to go to this restaurant for years and years but stopped after having two run-ins with a nasty waitress. Might've been this same woman, who knows?
Anyway, don't let a sour-puss waitress keep you away from one of the best places for real food, competitively priced, in Atlanta.

This review is not accurate, this place is NOT Kosher. It is just a kosher 'style' deli.
