User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsWENT TO THE RESTAURANT. FOOD WAS OK. TAB FOR TWO PEOPLE CAME OUT TO $98.75. GAVE WAITRESS A $10 TIP. SUGGESTED TIP WAS 18%. THOUGHT THAT AMOUNT WAS TOO MUCH. MY CARD WAS CHARGED THE 98.75. WHEN THE AMOUNT HIT MY BANK I WAS CHARGED THE BILL PLUS TIP. CALLED AND SPOKE WITH A MANAGER AND WAS RUDELY TOLD THAT, AT THE END OF THE NIGHT THEY AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE THE TIP TO YOUR CARD WHETHER YOU GAVE A TIP OR NOT. SHE SAID THAT SHE WILL NOT ISSUE A REFUND, THAT I WILL HAVE TO DISPUTE THE CHARGE TO MY BANK....WORD OF ADVICE "DON'T USE A DEBIT CARD HERE!!!, IF YOU DO KEEP YOUR RECEIPT, AND CHECK WITH YOUR BANK TO VERIFY ACTUAL AMOUNT CHARGED
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe were told our wait would be 30-45 minutes,and it was expected because a friend recommended that we go. Surprisingly our wait was only5minutes. The oyster appetizer, was kinda overcooked. I enjoyed the crab cake-nothing but crab no bread filling...excellent. The rice was very good. The waitress was very helpful with helping us choose something we would like since it was our time dining there.

If you are looking for a quiet restaurant, than Spondivits is definitely not for you. However, if you are looking for a bite to eat at a noisy bar with great decore, then come on in! Travelers staying at the nearby airport hotels might want to try a bucket of shellfish (crab, lobster, shrimp) for a unique experience. Some other items such as burgers, wings, and steaks are on the menu...but buckets of shellfish seems to be what everyone is eating along with their drinks.

This whole review has to be a lie. I just stopped working there recently and I still frequent there as a customer. The suggested tip is %15 NOT %18. So the fact that this person thought that %15 was way too much just shows how cheap they are! A $10 tip on a $100 tab is an insulting %10 tip. I also know for a fact that NO manager there would have said that they automatically charge the tip to your card because they don't. The server has to close out the bill to whatever the customer writes on the total line. Go to Spondivits yourself and be the judge people!!
