I purchased a smack brand new Nissan Altima right off the parking lot of Catitol City Nissan. The car was purchased in September of 2005 however, the model is a 2006. Before the car was even a year old, I experienced major (I mean major) difficulties with it. After going back to the dealership time, after time, after time, after time, they finally decided to put an etirely new computer system in my car. This year in may, the same thing happened. Only this time I had to pay over $500.00 for them to fix the car. The same day I paid them, the car quit on me before I made it home. I was furious. Then they told me that they were going to put another new computer system in it! After I had paid them money that I really didn't have. Now, the car won't let me park. The gear gets stuck in neutral. I am so frustrated. I will never, ever purchase another car here again. Neither would I recommend anyone else to. When I first bought the car, I asked if I could turn that one back in and get another one since I was having so much trouble. Of course my request wad denied unless I could come up with more money they said. All I wanted was the same car, same year, same car note. They would not permit this. The headquarters wasn't any help either. Now I'm stuck paying for a car that doesn't work. Hopefully, not for long. My file at Capitol City is so thick, it looks like a book. I'm not exaggerating.
I am so glad I decided to stop by Capitol City Nissan! My lease on my Acura was about to expire. I met David Torrence, who became my salesman. He was exactly what I needed after several bad experiences at other dealerships! He was so patient while I looked at two models and really listened to what I wanted in my next car! I test drove two models and decided on a Murano. Wow, what an incredible vehicle! Had everything I wanted in features but was concerned if it fit in my budget. David and the General Sales Manager, Wayne, worked with me on a deal that I could not turn down! I was very impressed with Wayne and his knowledge of the industry! I felt that I got a really terrific deal and would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to just walk in and see what they have to offer. You may just become a happy Nissan owner like me!
Terrible service department. They stained the interior of my car with oil and refused to acknowledge what they had done. They even brought the mechanic who serviced the car out to deny it and he threatened me not to accuse him when the manager walked away. I will never return to this dealership and wouldn't suggest anyone bring their car in for service there.
