User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsPoor Richard's is probably the most dependable place in Gainesville and in my opinion is only challenged by Eat at Thai for quality and consistancy. I am very glad that Gainesville has a restaurant of this caliber. I am sure a food critic could find some faults, but compared to the others in town this is the place to be, no question about it!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsbest place to dine in gainesville,Ga. if you like prim rib beef,oysters on the half-shell,as well as a fair selection of wines,cocktails etc. a good list of deserts and good after dinner coffee such as expresso,my favorite.It is strange to me writing any sort of review about poor Richard's,it's a dining delight ,it can hardly tell it with words ,one just need to try it once,then you will understand what a great place it is to dine there.The service is second to none./in my opinion.

I've never, I said never had anything but Great Food and Wounderful Times @ Poor Richards! You can't find another Restaurant in the Gainesville Area that offers food this good and service this grand. I guess if you are looking for rubber stamped food Poor Richards might not be your kind of place, but if you are looking for that somthing special IT IS THE PLACE TO BE !!
