Just returned from eating here, I am a local and have been going to Coleman Lake for 30 years. The place has fallen on hard times lately and the quality of food and service is terrible!! I refuse to go back. This is too bad but the prices are so high I should get better!!

I could not be more dissapointed! I have been a seasonal regular at Coleman Lake for five years now. My most recent trip, last week is the worst ever, and the "charm" of the place fades fast when the food is BAD, cooked poorly, and the service was non-exsistant!! The fried shrimp my wife had were small and mushy, my steak was OVERCOOKED and looked like it was put in an oven! There was no honey-cracked mustard for my steak, and the salad bar was empty! As we laid on the floor dying of thirst we noticed that the ceiling in the dining room was nearly falling in and very discolored, the cracks and non upkeep of the place is showing through. The owners should be ashamed of themselves! This place should be shut down a great restyrant gone to heck in a handbasket!

THE BEST!!!!!: This place is hands down the best seafood place within 100 miles. Augusta has nothing to compare! We make the trip for birthdays and anniversaries, and we just love the food. Our son loves the river, and the occassional gator sunning themselves. Best place around for anyone, by far!!!
