This is an absolutely wonderful attraction for the whole family. Our children would gladly go again and again. The tour guides are informative and a real hoot! The panning for gold and gems is a must. If you are local and looking for a great place to take friends and relatives whent they come to visit, this wold be a good choice.

Excellent , Educational and Fun: The Consolidated Gold Mines is a funtastic place to go with family and friends. One can spend a whole day at the mines , go on a marvelous tour with very infomitive guides who make the tour so much fun, for an inexpensive day of fun.

The gold panning and gem mining for raw gems which may be processed in a near by gem and jewel business ,is fantastic. The history of the first gold rush in the USA is something for everyone to hear about. Go there! You will never regret it and always remember you time there.

Consolidated Gold Mine: Great place, friendly people!
Grandson loved mining for gold and best of all jewels! Educational too when you tour a real mine. Don't miss taking the children!
