purchased a 2010 camry le on 11/8/09. my husband called for a quote. it was in line with edmond's tmv for this car. stan said when we come in that would not change. we couldn't have been more pleased with our salesman. honest, trustworthy. never went back on his word. completely professional. we spent the same amount of time here actually test driving our new camry, getting financing, signing papers as marietta toyota but that wasted trip was fruitless.
we'd buy another car from stan and cindy at finance made us feel comfortable and never pushy. i liken buying a car to having to deal with a lawyer, or dentist but these people made it painless... thank you stan and toyota mall of ga.
I've had bad experiences here, too. I bought my 04 Tacoma here and as an incentive, I got a voucher book for free oil changes for the first 100k miles. I have been using them for regular maintenance, and the service sales pressure is definitely there.
Also, I once paid for a tire rotation (along with the rest of my scheduled services at the time), but they didn't rotate the tires. In my most recent service, they missed the fact that my brake fluid was below the minimum on thier inspection.
In the interest of fairness, they did once repair a tire puncture for free.
My wife and I also bought a Honda Civic for her, and we use the Honda MOG dealership for her service. Toyota MOG lives up to the stereotype about dealership service centers, while we have had nothing but pleasant experiences at the Honda dealership. Toyota MOG needs to sent their folks across the street to learn about customer service.
If I ever need major repairs for my Honda, I'll go to the dealer, but for my Tacoma? I'll stick to the free oil changes until the vouchers run out, but nothing more.
I went in because they gave me a good price through the internet. Once I got there the price they gave me was only for purchasing the car not leasing. They wasted my entire day and lied to me saying, Toyota only leases the car using the sticker price. I called the regional office and they told me that the negociated price has nothing to do with the financing method we choose. Once a price is settled on you can work out the financing by either leasing it or buying it.
