We came up to Dahlonega for the weekend. We did some research on good restaurants and was able to find several locations available thru restaurant.com. Caruso's was one of them. To sum it up, our waitress was very friendly, the restaurant was semi-clean, but the food was horendous. We had to order $50 worth of food so we order the tour of italy, the shrimp scampi, the cheese bread and cheesesticks. The cheese bread and the cheesesticks were the only thing edible. The "scampi" had a dishwater taste, the chicken from the chicken parmesan was horribly dry and the salads that came with both dinners were not fresh at all. Please take your hard earned money elsewhere! There are too many places to choose from in that area!

I live in Helen,Ga. I have been going to Caruso's more than 20 years. Yes, sometimes the wait is long. Yes, sometimes is noisey. Yes, it's a bar type setting. However, the food is always good, the staff is always friendly and pleasant. The best is the warm family feeling. So I wish all the rest who have left neg comments, get a life. It is a tourist town, so you can expect to wait sometimes. Just like Helen,Ga try to get waited on in a timely manner during Oct. fest, It's just the way it is. Staff can only do so much, patience is diffinately a virtue.
